Call your Senators and demand they vote NO on Kavanaugh

(202) 224-3121

Lied under oath

  1. Kavanaugh repeatedly stated that the witnesses at the party "refuted" Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations, but neither Mark Judge, Leland Keyser or P.J. Smyth, all of whom were in attendance, have ever refuted Blasey's story.

  2. Kavanaugh claimed he had "never attended a gathering" like the one Christine Blasey described or with the individuals she mentioned. However, his calendars clearly show several social gatherings like the one Blasey describes with two of the three other individuals in attendance.

  3. Kavanaugh stated he and Blasey "traveled in different social circles," but his friend "Squi" dated Blasey for a period.

  4. Kavanaugh denied every blacking out multiple times during the hearing, but numerous friends and classmates describe him as a "heavy" and "excessive" drinker who would often become "belligerent" and "incoherent." Additionally,  in an email to friends after a vacation, Kavanaugh apologized for getting too drunk after losing at dice and said he didn’t remember it happening.

Declined FBI Investigation

During the hearing Sen. Dick Durbin asked Kavanaugh if he would welcome an FBI investigation, but instead Kavanaugh dodged the question and said the Senate was better suited to determine if he was telling the truth than the FBI.

Accused of Sexual Assault by 3 Women

  1. Christine Blasey Ford: Kavanaugh and a friend forced her into a bedroom and then "pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it. When she tried to scream, she said, he put his hand over her mouth."

  2. Deborah Ramirez: While at Yale University, "Kavanaugh had exposed himself at a drunken dormitory party, thrust his penis in her face, and caused her to touch it without her consent as she pushed him away."

  3. Julie Swetnick: In a sworn declaration, claims in 1981-1983, she saw Kavanaugh drinking excessively at parties and engaging "in abusive and physically aggressive behavior toward girls." She says that Kavanaugh and others would get girls inebriated so they could be "gang raped." "I have a firm recollection of seeing boys lined up outside rooms at many of these parties waiting for their 'turn' with a girl inside the room. These boys included Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh."

Violated Code of Judicial Conduct

Kavanaugh's belligerent and highly partisan testimony did NOT promote “public confidence in the independence, integrity and impartiality of the judiciary”, which VIOLATES rule 1.2 of the American Bar Association’s Code of Judicial Conduct.
